| Requirement of Position: |
- Previous coaching experience in college and/or high school
- Has demonstrated a knowledge of all aspects of football and has had a record of
success in previous coaching positions
- Has knowledge and understanding of Tennessee Secondary School Athletic
Association rules and regulations
Successful applicant will be expected to:
- Be responsible for overall supervision of the program, including the junior varsity
program and off-season conditioning program
- Monitor attendance and academic progress of all student athletes in program
- Maintain effective supervision of all assistant coaches
- Conduct himself in a highly ethical manner at all times and insist on the same
from other coaches and players as well
- Be highly motivated to build a strong program, working closely with the middle
school and youth program in Maynardville, Union County, TN
- Be a member of a professional organization such as the American Football
Coaches Association and or the Tennessee Football Coaches Association
- Establish and maintain positive relationship with parents and community; present
clear expectations for student athletes, parents and coaching staff
- Full time teaching position in Union County Public Schools
