UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS

MATHEMATICS: 3 credits including:

Algebra I

                        Geometry

Algebra II

FINE ARTS: 1 credit from one of the following:

                        Visual Art I

                        Drama/Theater Arts

                        Vocal Music-Chorus

                        Instrumental Music-Band

FOREIGN LANGUAGE: 2 credits from:

                        Spanish I & Spanish II

Other classes that would be good choices for university path students are: (going beyond what’s required)

English: Honors & Advanced Placement English

Math: Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Calculus AB

Science: Chemistry II, Anatomy & Physiology, Biology II, Chemistry II & Physics

Social Studies: Take both World Geography and World History (only one is required to graduate), Advanced Placement United States History.

Foreign Language: Spanish III

Computer: Any upper level computer classes. You’ll be using computers as part of almost every college class.

Electives: ACT Prep Class, subjects you might major in in college (i.e. Psychology, Accounting, or technical classes such as Health Science).
