Title I Parent/Community Notification

The following schools are Title I and School Wide Status: Big Ridge, Luttrell, Maynardville, and Sharps Chapel Elementary.

Parents of students in the above Title I schools may request information about the qualification of teachers and paraprofessionals who instruct their child. |
|
Parents of students in the above Title I schools will receive notification if Union County Public Schools employs a teacher for four or more consecutive weeks who does not meet the highly qualified requirement. |
| Students have the right to transfer to another school within the district If they are the victim of a violent crime at school. |
